The Indian Foundation for Vedic Science (IFVS) is the realization of a visionary concept conceived by the distinguished Vedic scholar and scientist, Shri Ram Narain Arya (1936–2010). As early as 1990, Shri Arya envisioned the establishment of an institution dedicated to reviving the timeless wisdom of the Vedas and presenting it in harmony with rational inquiry, scientific thought, and contemporary understanding.
Guided by this noble vision, he founded the Indian Foundation for Vedic Science (IFVS) in 1999 in India. Since its inception, IFVS has served as a pioneering center for the study, research, interpretation, and dissemination of Vedic knowledge, striving to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and modern science.
Over the past two decades, IFVS has made a significant contribution to the promotion of Scientific Hinduism, Vedic Philosophy, Vedic Sciences, and Vedic Culture. Through its educational programs, seminars, workshops, publications, and outreach activities, the Foundation has successfully trained and inspired several thousand students, scholars, educators, and seekers from diverse backgrounds.
